Cold Harbor Campaign

Following Grant's Overland Campaign of 1864

Cold Harbor signThe Battle of Cold Harbor took place May 31-June 12, 1864. Here Grant ordered an attack which resulted in more carnage than "Pickett's Charge" at Gettysburg. On June 12, Grant moved on towards the James River.
